Florence is the 8th largest city of Italy, the 95th largest city of Europe and the xxth largest city of the World. It is the capital of the region Tuscany. The city is located on the Arno River. Florence is divided into x districts. According to the Legend the city was founded in - 59 (before year 0 birth of Jesus) by former Roman soldiers to whom Julius Caesar had offerend the fertile land around the Arno River.
